Louis Kemp® began meeting
the seafood needs of consumers more than 60 years ago.
It all started in Duluth, Minnesota, in 1930, when Aron
and Abe Kemp, founders of A. Kemp Fisheries, began transporting
fresh Lake Superior fish to markets in Chicago.
Almost 40 years later, in 1967,
Louis Kemp took over as president and soon expanded the
business to Alaska, where the company started processing
salmon and herring. |
